Speak Up, Speak Out!

Our Speak Up, Speak Out competition is back in 2026 and is going to be bigger and better than ever!

Speak Up, Speak Out is an excellent opportunity for schools in and around Birmingham to teach children to find their voice and share their views about issues impacting them. Participating schools will be given planning guidance and teaching tools to confidently deliver a speechmaking unit of work to their year 6 pupils- a fantastic way for pupils to stay engaged post-SATs! They will then run their own in-house heats before selecting a finalist to send to the competition at Millennium Point in central Birmingham.
